Mad Hatter Entertainment is a literary management and production company specializing in the discovery, representation and career building of feature and television writers and directors. We also produce a diverse slate of films both with, and independent of our clients.


MAD HATTER CLIENTS INCLUDE:


- Beau Michael Thorne, who wrote MAX PAYNE  for Twentieth Century Fox, starring Mark Wahlberg.  Beau is currently writing the script for HIDING IN TIME, a graphic novel setup at Warner Bros and working with another Mad Hatter client, Ameni Rosza on an intelligent tv series aimed at an AMC audience.


- Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy are developing PENDRAGON, an updated King Arthur mythos which is currently setup up at New Regency.  As well as completing a draft of SUMMONER for producer Joel Silver at Warner Bros, their project ONCE UPON A TIME IN HELL goes into production later this year with Mad Hatter and Phoenix Pictures producing. Lee and Brian are also working on a space actioner tentpole for Warner Bros.


- Javier Rodriguez who sold his spec script, THE HERETIC, to Phoenix Pictures with Mad Hatter attached to produce is also currently adapting the novel, GUN WITH OCCASIONAL MUSIC for the Polsky brothers, and a hard hitting chicago crime novel for The Hollywood Gang.


- Jeff Dean sold his spec script, "L", to New Regency with Mad Hatter attached to produce.


- Bryan Bertino, the writer/director of THE STRANGERS was discovered and developed by Mad Hatter Entertainment.


MAD HATTER PRODUCTIONS INCLUDE:


- HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 3D, a Dreamworks Animation film and currently the 90th highest grossing film of all time.


- AMBER ALERT, a female driven independent thriller scripted by clients, Carey and Shane Van Dyke.


-WILD ABOUT HARRY, a comedy remake setup at Paramount Pictures.

-CURE, and unorthodox horror love story written by client, Beau Thorne and setup with Groundswell Productions.
